- A travel manager, the person in charge of the company's travel, negotiates special rates with airlines and hotels.
- The traveller books within those rules.
- The trip becomes an expense, which is approved and paid.

A company trip is rules applied to options: the travel policy, the negotiated rates, and the time and place of the meeting. An AI agent that knows all three could arrange the trip straight from the meeting invitation in your calendar. It could rebook you when a flight is cancelled, and file the expense claim afterwards.
