SAP engineering at the GCCs is technical work on the platform the parent runs on. The postings require:
Many postings also require reporting on top of SAP, with Power BI, and a cloud, Azure or Google Cloud.
The emphasis follows the industry. The retailers lean to the older ECC, to IDoc and to reporting with Power BI and Tableau. The logistics operators lean to S/4HANA and its materials management. The banks' SAP postings require Java and Spring Boot beside HANA and Core Data Services, for the systems that sit around SAP.
None of the SAP postings ask for experience with AI models.
Bengaluru has most of the work, and Chennai and Mumbai hold a larger share of SAP than of GCC hiring. Hyderabad holds far less.
These readings follow the record quarter by quarter, from October to December 2025, the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26, to July to September 2026, the second quarter of 2026-27. A longer record will show whether they last.
SAP jobs stay open more often than GCC jobs overall, among the most of any platform role. When one is posted again, its first and last postings are typically about three weeks apart, and nine in ten are within about seven weeks.
SAP's door is the narrowest of the platform roles. There are no entry-level SAP openings in the GCC world, junior openings are far under the GCC rate, and staff-level openings take a much larger share than across the GCCs.
This page reads the openings. The story of the companies is on Global capability centres in India (GCCs).
