Integration developers in the services world A role across the services world, every Company Tier together, Accenture left out. Accenture posts about twice as much of this work as the rest of the services world put together, and its integration hiring is described with the rest of its hiring on its own. The short answer A large company runs dozens of systems, SAP for its accounts, Salesforce for its customers, Workday for its people, and many of its own. Integration developers make them talk to one another, so that an order taken in one system appears in the next, using platforms built for the job, MuleSoft, Boomi and Informatica above all. In the services world this is a small and specialised role, at several times its weight at product companies, because connecting a client's bought systems is services work. The quiet foreign majors hire it most heavily, NTT DATA above all, and the giants, like IBM, TCS and Infosys, post the most in volume. The postings require MuleSoft first, then Informatica and Boomi, with SQL, Java and a cloud. The door is narrow, with almost no openings for juniors.

Much more integration work in services names no platform at all. Those postings ask for Java or .NET developers who connect business systems in code, and they are described as enterprise application work under Java backend and full-stack engineers and .NET engineers in the services world.

Where the work sits The quiet foreign majors weigh most. In Company Tier 3, The quiet foreign majors, integration on a named platform is over twice its services weight, at NTT DATA above all. The giants post the most in volume, at about their services weight, through IBM, TCS and Infosys. The specialist firms and the small shops sit a little above the rate, through YASH Technologies and AgileEngine. What the work is

Integration work on a named platform in services has three parts.

MuleSoft, which Salesforce owns, is in most of the postings, for building connections between applications as reusable services. Informatica, for moving and transforming data between systems in bulk. Boomi, a cloud integration platform.

The postings also require SQL, and often Java with Spring Boot and a cloud, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

None of these postings ask for experience with language models.

Bengaluru has most of the work, with Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi NCR behind it.

What is changing

These readings follow the record quarter by quarter, from October to December 2025, the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26, to July to September 2026, the second quarter of 2026-27. A longer record will show whether they last.

Integration dipped and recoveredOpenings rose into January to March 2026, fell sharply in April to June and rose again in July to September 2026, ending the record at a larger share of services hiring than it began. IBM stopped, TCS and YASH Technologies took overIBM, which posted the most in the winter of 2025, posted none after March 2026, and Infosys none after December 2025. TCS and YASH Technologies posted the most of their record in July to September 2026.
Persistently open roles

Integration jobs are persistently open about as often as services jobs overall. When one is posted again, its first and last postings are typically a little over two weeks apart, and rarely more than five weeks.

NTT DATA and IBM post the same integration job again most often. MuleSoft is the hardest skill to find among those integration postings require.
The door

Integration's door is narrow. Outside Accenture there are almost no entry or junior openings, mid-level openings are the majority, and senior openings are close to the services share.

In one line If you build integrations in MuleSoft, Boomi or Informatica, the services world hires you at several times the rate of product companies, at NTT DATA, TCS and YASH Technologies above all, once you have experience.
