Oracle and Workday engineers in the services world A role across the services world, every Company Tier together, Accenture left out. Accenture posts more than ten times as much Oracle and Workday work as the rest of the services world put together, and nearly all the Workday work in services is Accenture's; it is described with the rest of its hiring on its own. The short answer After SAP, Oracle's business suites and Workday are the systems large companies most often run their money and their people on. Oracle's Fusion and E-Business Suite run finance, purchasing and supply chains, and Workday runs HR and payroll, often with Oracle or SAP beside it for finance. Services firms set these suites up, extend them and connect them to everything else. Outside Accenture this is a small role in the services world, a little above its weight at product companies, and the openings are few enough that each employer matters. IBM, EPAM, Infosys, PwC and CGI post the most, and TTEC, a BPO firm, posts a notable share. The postings require SQL with the suite itself, Oracle EBS and Fusion with Oracle Integration Cloud on one side, Workday with its integration tools and Workday Studio on the other. These jobs are hard to fill, and there is no door for juniors at all outside Accenture. Where the work sits The giants post the most, at about their services weight, through IBM and Infosys. The build firms and the consulting arms hire it above their weight. EPAM among the build firms and PwC among the consulting arms post a good share of the Oracle and Workday work in services. The BPO and KPO firms hire it well above their weight, through TTEC. Elsewhere, a handful. CGI among the quiet foreign majors, Mphasis and Happiest Minds among the mid-sized firms, and Bristlecone, a supply-chain firm, post the rest. What the work is

Oracle and Workday work in services comes in two parts.

Oracle engineers work on Oracle E-Business Suite, the older on-premise suite, and Oracle Fusion, its cloud successor, with NetSuite and PeopleSoft in a few postings. The postings require SQL and Oracle's databases, with Oracle Integration Cloud for connecting the suite to other systems, and some name the Financials module. Workday engineers work on Workday's HR and finance system. The postings require Workday's integration tools and Workday Studio, its tool for building complex integrations, with SQL.

Many postings in both parts also ask for reporting and data movement, because these suites feed a company's finance and HR reports.

None of these postings ask for experience with language models.

Bengaluru has most of the work, and Hyderabad holds a much larger share of it than of services hiring generally.

What is changing

These readings follow the record quarter by quarter, from October to December 2025, the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26, to July to September 2026, the second quarter of 2026-27. A longer record will show whether they last.

Oracle and Workday hiring was small and steady, then fellOpenings held through June 2026 and fell in July to September, a gentler fall than services hiring overall until that quarter. The employers turned overIBM's Oracle and Workday hiring came in a burst in January to March 2026 and stopped. Infosys posted in the winter of 2025 and hardly after. EPAM hired from January to June 2026, and TTEC's hiring grew through 2026.
Persistently open roles

Oracle and Workday jobs are persistently open far more often than services jobs overall, among the most of any platform role. When one is posted again, its first and last postings are typically about three weeks apart, and rarely more than seven weeks.

Workday is the hardest to fill. Most Workday jobs outside Accenture were posted more than once. Fusion and Oracle Integration Cloud jobs are posted again more often than the services average too. IBM posted most of its Oracle and Workday jobs more than once.
The door

Outside Accenture there is no door for juniors here. None of the Oracle or Workday openings in the services world are entry or junior level, and senior and staff openings outnumber mid-level ones. Engineers come to this work from other enterprise roles, or through Accenture.

In one line If you know Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS or Workday, the services world outside Accenture has a small number of hard-to-fill, experienced roles for you at IBM, EPAM, Infosys, PwC and TTEC, and Accenture has far more.
